Access to the Park
By river crossing directly in front of the lodge (boat) this transfer takes around 5 minutes from the lodge to the awaiting game vehicle.

Luangwa River Lodge will happily assist you by downloading your pictures to free up memory card space and put your pictures on CD or DVD.
We can easily do this on a daily basis if necessary but we strongly recommend you bring more than one memory card for your digital camera(s) – this not only ensure you are never without a memory card and/or never run out of space while on safari.
The lodge can accept a variety of solid state memory card formats. Please enquire whether your memory cards are supported if you don't have your own means of downloading pictures to disk.
We also suggest you bring sufficient batteries, battery packs and chargers where necessary.
Other Services
Email and internet are available to clients, Telephones, both land and satellite. Electricity; 220v mains as well as a generator large enough to power the whole camp during outages.
